Actually the VPC’s own research shows the exact opposite. Their own count puts the number of murders by CCW holders per year at 33. That’s in a nation that has over 16,000 homicides per year.

The real slogan is “people with CCW permits don’t commit 99.99% of all murders. People without them do.”

Given that Mr. Speight did not use a concealed firearm to commit any alleged acts of crime, I do not understand the relevance of his permit to his alleged actions.

Additionally, a reference to raw numbers with neither statistical analysis nor relative comparisons, rather than percentages compared to the population at large, is not a valid means of establishing a trend. Claiming that concealed weapons permit holders “kill people” is a false generalization, and is inherently dishonest. I don’t get the point you are trying to make here. This guy murdered numerous people, which is pretty much as bad as it gets in the terms of breaking the law. Are you suggesting the guy would not have used a gun if he was not licensed to carry it concealed? CCW permits have nothing to do with owning a gun, only makes it lawful to do so in a concealed manner. So your line of thinking is the permit made him do it lol?

“killed at least 117 people” out of those how many were justified shootings, and how many people have ccw in va? you leave out alot to try and make it sounde as ccw holders r bad but if you look at the numbers you are way off!!!!!!
