www.cafepress.com Part 5 of “The day of the Confederacy”. A chronicle of the embattled South. By Nathaniel W. Stephenson [1919] Text of video in Public Domain THE POLITICAL CLIMATE DURING THE CIVIL WAR WILL AMAZE YOU Reading a manuscript aloud is an excellent way to absorb the information in a book. I wanted to introduce myself to YouTube, and I decided to offer this seldom seen look into the politics of the Confederacy. Its also one of the most difficult things I have ever tried to do, and my armature readings has given me a new found respect for those who do this as a profession. I have over 20000 civil war jpg photographs in my collection.

That’s why Contentious Objector is a legal term.
It could have been corks.
The narrative covers the interplay of humanity, and duty or cause. Frankly, my idea of neighbor or fellow man is not that of someone who must be killed. I understand the apparent circumstances. But, I also know that soldiers and people are conditioned to serve against what might otherwise be their better judgement.
I served in the military, but was non-combat, stateside. However, I’ve been around loud discharges, and they made me instantly ill.
In looking at some old lithographs of this battle, these cannons were large, and required tough, conditioned, disciplined crews. I would probably have folded pretty fast. I don’t know how they did it (unless it was grog and molasses!).
history has a tendency of repeating itself. thans for an indepth history lesson.
