Ben Redding set up the Great Egg Toss (Captains Call) at the R/1 Summit 2010 which ended in a tie. Participants from the USS Ohio, USS Appomattox USS Star Runner, & team HeimNair (Heimdal & McNair). We were tricked by the sight of a broken egg in the grass just before we started – Ben said he dropped one … so we thought we had “live” eggs. Thanks to Ruth for taking over the video!

It’s better with Raw Eggs
The great part of this was everyone at the start “thought” they were fresh eggs. We had one special eggy for Ben to thrown down to demonstrate, (an further the mental mindset, hehe) but the rest were actually hard boiled. Thanks to Curt Bellman for prepping this for us in advance, and Ben Redding for overseeing it at the Summit.
