This video shows the view of the hole about half way through the operation. Mix truck backs up to the pumps hopper & slowly offloads the concrete which is the shot through the boom to the pour site. All of this is controlled via radio remote control. Using the pump eliminates the use of vibrators to “settle” out voids that would occur in chute delivery. Thistower site was designed for Mid-Atlantic Broadband Cooperative (mbc-va.com), by RAF Wireless LLC (rafwireless.com). The tower is located in Appomattox VA & will support Last Mile fiber connectivity for Digital Bridge’s WiMAX deployment around Appomattox, called BridgeMAXX.
